Upon accepting a job please immediately send a chat to the passenger with following details.
ON RIDE NOW “Good day. My name is …… I am on my way to pick you up and will be there shortly”. ONLY IF the client has completed one or less rides is when you call and when you pick them up, please tell them that you only called because of the fact that it’s their first time using Hwindi BUT if it’s not their first trip then quickly drive to the pick-up point and remember to refresh your phone in case the passenger replies or cancels the trips.
ON RIDE LATER/PREBOOKS “Good day. My name is …… I have accepted your request and will be there to pick you up at the requested time”.
Please make sure if you get a book later booking you send a message (whatsapp/sms) to the client so they can relax and wait for the day and time.
PLEASE ALWAYS REMEMBER PRE-BOOKS WILL BE AUTOMATICALLY REALLOCATED TO OTHER DRIVERS IF NOT STARTED (pressing GO TO PICK UP) AND THERE IS NOW 5 MINUTES LEFT FROM THE SCHEDULE TIME.
On arrival double check that you are at the correct position and if so, go ahead and press arrived and follow up with a chat informing them that you have arrived and telling them where exactly you are e.g. I have arrived and I am parked opposite the Police post. If they reply, then relax and wait for them. If they do not reply to all your chats, then you can then call and tell them you have arrived and where exactly you are. If you are communicating well then relax and wait for them and remember the app starts charging waiting fee after waiting for 5 minutes from the time you press arrived. However, after waiting for a total of 20 minutes, you can use your own discretion to cancel trip or continue waiting. If it’s a corporate trip (not card trip but corporate) you can never cancel before getting approval from the office or waiting for more than 30 minutes.
